Veneers
Dental veneers are frequently used by Dr. Diaz to hide a patient’s multiple smile imperfections. Chips, cracks, stains, and even small gaps can be concealed using these custom-made, ultrathin sheaths. Placed over the surfaces of teeth, they require the removal of a small amount of tooth enamel for proper placement but can last for 10+ years before needing to be replaced. Those who choose veneers to transform their appearance can expect the process to require two dental visits to our office.
Metal-Free Restorations
Traditional amalgam is still used in many dental offices today; however, when a patient requests a crown or filling that matches their smile, we use metal-free restorations that consist of zirconia materials. Not only does this produce more natural-looking smiles, but it also delivers greater stability so that individuals can feel more confident using and showing off their pearly whites.
Cosmetic Bonding
Small imperfections can be bothersome, but they often don’t require the same intense treatment as someone with a mouth full of stained or gapped teeth. This is why we incorporate cosmetic bonding into our array of available services. Less invasive than veneers and reversible, it conceals the slightest flaws using composite resin that is placed onto the enamel and molded into place. It is completed in just one appointment and delivers beautiful results that can last years.
Teeth Whitening
Many individuals turn to store-bought teeth whitening products for a brighter smile. Unfortunately, what often happens is they develop increased sensitivity and lackluster results. Dr. Diaz and his team can produce whiter teeth using safe and effective solutions, like in-office treatment with Opalescence Boost or take-home kits with Opalescence Go. Whether results are achieved in one hour with in-office whitening or two weeks with customized at-home kits, patients can enjoy a smile that is several shades brighter and can last months before requiring a touch-up.
Gum Recontouring/Crown Lengthening
Excessive gum tissue is not only aesthetically problematic, but it also increases a patient’s risk of gum disease over time. With gum recontouring, Dr. Diaz can carefully remove the unnecessary tissue so that a more balanced smile appears. He can also perform what is known as crown lengthening if a patient needs additional tooth structure to support a customized dental restoration (i.e., a dental crown).
BOTOX® Treatment
A person’s smile may be the first thing others notice, but facial features are often known to help or hinder one’s overall aesthetic. This is why we offer BOTOX treatment in our Dallas office. After a consultation with Dr. Diaz, patients can expect to receive several injections that will temporarily relax facial muscles to create a smoother, more youthful appearance. BOTOX targets crow’s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, and other areas of the face and neck.
Smile Makeovers
When multiple imperfections cause a patient to feel self-conscious about their appearance, Dr. Diaz might recommend a smile makeover. Since it is considered a comprehensive and fully customized form of treatment, he will combine various cosmetic and restorative services to transform a patient’s smile so that it looks, feels, and functions like normal. Depending on the complexity of treatment, results can take weeks, months, or even a full year to achieve.
